"Running in the winter grounds my day. It cures me of cabin fever and keeps the colds and flus at bay. My favorite time to run is early morning when the streets are empty and no one is awake. It is time that I own. It makes me feel powerful and alive."
"Everyone asks how I survive winters living on an island off the coast of Maine. Simple, I say; I get outside and I enjoy it. Even in the summer, I long for the quiet months of winter when I can walk my dog off-leash, feel the cold air, and listen to the sounds of the waves hitting the shore. My favorite time is late afternoon, when the sun sets over Casco Bay igniting a red sky. Walking is my meditation. And now with my STABILicers I never have to miss a day."
"My dad took me ice fishing when I was a boy. There is no quiet like the quiet of being out on a frozen pond in the dark of the morning. I’ve always loved the sport, and I can’t wait until my own boys are old enough to go. I bought my first pair of Stabilicers years ago and now all the families on our pond wear them. Some of the fellows even wear them in the river during fly fishing season. It is amazing how they can help. Fishing is about patience, stillness, and quiet and with the cleats you can really hold your grip."
"I started winter hiking about four years ago when a buddy of mine and I skied Tuckerman's Ravine on the backside of Mt. Washington. The ski down was a little icy, but the hike up was spectacular. Blue bird sky, white snowy peaks, a late winter sun warm on my back. As an outdoor junkie, I was easily addicted, and thanks to my STABILicers, I can now hike all winter long."
“In Northern Vermont the first snow happens long before Thanksgiving, and with the unstable temperatures, a snowfall can quickly turn into treacherous, icy conditions. With my STABILicers, I am able to get the traction I really need while on pursuit. I love the thrill of the sport. And now with my Stabilicers I never have to miss a day of the season."

My crew works hard outdoors and they never get a day off because of bad weather. Keeping my crew safe is important to me and to running my business
Running in the winter cures me of cabin fever and keeps the colds and flu at bay. I love running in my STABILicers SPORT because no matter what the weather brings, I can always get out.
I wear my LITEs around town and to walk the dog in the winter. They keep me on my feet and are easy to slip on and off. I was so excited when I heard STABILicers was now making a LITE for my kids!
I wear STABILicers Overshoe because they not only provide traction but they keep my shoes inside dry. I work outside and when you spend all day outside in 20 degree weather, safety is not just about staying on your feet, it’s about staying dry and warm.
Stabilicers are great. The ONLY ice traction footgear necessary in winter Adirondacks for packed snow & ice.
Check out 32north ice cleats for the coming winter. I have bought many cleats over my years in Alaska, and 32north products are by far the best.
You guys ROCK! I love how you support your community . . . just one more reason to LOVE Stabilicers!
Always the originals. Going out to the barn now to feed my horse, these work great on wet slippery leaves as well as snow and ice. I wear them for 3 seasons. Thank you Stabilicers.
Love my Stabilicers- I am a photographer / cinematographer and I use them for shooting along the coast of Maine during the winter a lot! And they came in real handy this past winter when I was shooting on the Discovery Network series "American Logger" which is being shot up in the Millinocket area.
I live in Alaska and am outdoors a lot. Tried many different footware for traction. The stablicers original and the stablicers lite are the best on the market. I like the lite on icey surfaces and the original in snow or snow and ice. Great products!
Thanks for such a wonderful product that not only saves lives but enables us to hike year 'round!
Meredith rocks her STABILicers. Woot! She reported to me this morning that they were fantastic. NO slippage, whatsoever.
My extra pair of Stabilicers are not in my trunk. They are right in the main part of the car (under the center console) so I don't have to battle my way to the back of the car if I need to wear them! :)
I'm out in all kinds of weather, running and testing the Roadbud app. Got a pair of stabilicers after a bad day with black ice, dusky light, and a very sore bottom. Perfect grip ever since. And no more icy pitfalls!
I recommend stabilicers to all my clients at The Exercise Space- with traction and confidence I've enjoyed many a runs w/ my stabilicers when everyone else looks inquisitively as to why I'm not slipping or sliding!
I love my Stabilicers and always wear them in inclement winter weather. The best snowboarding conditions are also the best Stabilicer conditions, and my ice cleats allow me to get to and from the mountain with confidence. The friends to whom I've given Stabilicers love them, too. They make a great gift!
Stabilicers aren't just for winter fun. I'm a fly-fisherman, and my Stabilicers keep me upright while wading through those tough spots in the river where slippery rocks and strong currents would take down a lesser angler.
Great to buy American made gear. Thank you
Just got the stabilicers lite.
These are the best shoe treads that I ever used. Thank you for making them. Keep up the great work
I purchased a pair of STABLicers Lite at my local tack shop, The Mane Place in Uxbridge, Ma.
I had purchased a different brand a couple years ago. They were OK, but all I could find. I saw your product at The Mane Place and looked them over. I liked the sturdy design and thought they would fit better and last longer than the pair I had (that kept falling off.) I also liked the cleat design. Also better than the pin type on the other brand.
I got to try them out the past couple days. What a difference!
And, what a pleasant surprise to see they are made here in the USA! You've demonstrated that quality items can be manufactured here and sold for reasonable prices.
I purchased your product while in Yosemite last week. I had to contact your company to thank you for providing such a fantastic product.
All 5 of my friends bought them too and couldn't stop raving about how great were. As we watched other people slip and fall, we were so grateful to be able to walk safely.
Thanks so much!
about 6 yrs ago i bought a pair of your "Originals"... at the time i was working outside for a county gov in wisconsin.... and it was icy.... now i work as a meter reader for a little town in minnesota… and it has been icy like a big dawg....yet i have not once fallen while wearing the "Originals"…. i walk on the average about 12 miles daily on the snow and ice while reading meters...
Recently received my order for STABILicers. They are wonderful. I am 75 years old and have to negotiate a long, sloped driveway during the snowy, icy winter months. Couldn't do it without the STABILicers.
